The School Counselor Stephanie Story

It has been a marvelous journey of over 25 years in the education field to get where I am today- a published author and school counselor leader.

In my journey to get where I am professionally today, I taught in many capacities: all subjects in the Maryland public schools, English and English Teaching Methods at a Mozambican teacher’s college, and English as a Second Language at an international school in Bolivia!

In 2008, I relocated back to the USA with Spanish fluency under my belt and started my career as a Texas-certified school counselor in a high-need public school system. I have been an elementary and secondary school counselor. I am currently a school counselor administrator. When I’m not counseling, writing, or presenting, I enjoy ranch life with my family.
